Before I met the custom drum loom I knew not what mic’ing up a drum kit could be. I lived life in a black and white scene cut straight from an infomercial, desperately trying to run lots of xlr and bashing my knuckles into things with exclamations of frustration and surprise. Dinner on the boil and the dog is loose. But no longer! Now I mic up drum kits with relative ease… and the best part? I can pull it up and do it all over again when the next kit arrives.
