Audio Technik Supports Perth Festival

Audio Technik is excited to announce our first sponsorship in the Arts space as we get behind the 2019 Perth Festival.

Perth Festival is celebration of local and international culture which has become a mainstay in Perth, Western Australia for 65 years.

From humble beginnings at the University of Western Australia’s annual summer school entertainment nights as a ‘festival for the people’ on January 3, 1953, Perth Festival continues to enrich life through art. This connection to people fits perfectly with the Audio Technik range of d&b Audiotechnik speakers who lead with the mantra of ‘Democracy for Listeners’.
The Festival has nurtured and cultivated decades of cultural growth as the longest-running arts festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

For a few weeks every summer, the best artists from Western Australia and from around the world come together in creative unity with the community.

Audio Technik has developed a strong relationship with Perth Festival as a supplier since 2010, providing sound equipment for festival gardens space now known as “Chevron Gardens”.

In 2019 this relationship continues to blossom with Audio Technik being named as a Major Partner of the festival.
The partnership will see Audio Technik’s work recognised for their part in delivering the audio for the nocturnal wonderland that is Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak.

The Boorna Waanginy experience returns for its second appearance at Perth Festival following a highly successful premiere in 2017 which transforms Kings Park into a nocturnal wonderland over four nights from Friday 8 February to Monday 11 February, 2019.
